India's WAAREE supplies modules for 250-MW solar project in US


July 29 (Renewables Now) - Indian solar panel maker WAAREE Energies Ltd has completed deliveries of over 300 MW of mono PERC photovoltaic (PV) modules for a solar project in California.



The Indian firm said on Tuesday that the equipment will be used at the 250-MW Aquamarine scheme, the first phase of the massive 2.7-GW Westlands Solar Park (WSP) in San Joaquin Valley. The project is owned by real estate and infrastructure company CIM Group.



WAAREE Energies has supplied 385Wp and 390Wp Mono PERC modules for the Aquamarine park. It noted that the panels are made of dark non-reflective materials to reduce glint and glare potential.
